Bridle Belt Workshop

Join us at the mill for a Bridle Belt Workshop!

Kaspar Skinner brings his abundance of skill and knowledge in leathermaking to host this Bridle Belt Workshop!

In this class, students will learn how to make a bridle belt using thick equestrian leather.
From using a traditional wooden strap cutter, to shaving the edges of the leather smooth, you’ll learn how to use age-old techniques and tools to make a simple, robust and practical piece of art which you’ll use forever.
The leather and hardware used in this class is sourced from Mennonite supplies local to the St Jacobs area, so you’ll be making a wholly Canadian product.
