Kyrgystani Shyrdak Rug Workshop

Learn shyrdak, the Kyrgystani felted rug technique used in traditional carpets and to decorate the walls of yurts. Colours of thick felt are inlaid to create a design. In this workshop, we will create a trivet, and start a second one. Patterns will be provided, or you will have the opportunity to design your own.
