Cropped Jacket -Coreopsis

Our first colour accent using natural dyes. The fabric is a broken twill weave, using warp and weft yarns dyed individually with locally grown Ontario Coreopsis and Goldenrod. The full story of the journey from field to garment showcasing the farms and artisans involved can be found on our Field Woollens page.

The jacket; simple, short and boxy, with V-neck and dropped shoulder. Assorted pebble buttons. If desired you can tuck or dart the jacket for a more fitted look. This is our first custom, small batch, naturally dyed fabric.  As with all natural dying and small run weaving, there will be “variations on a theme” with each subsequent yardage being different.
