Kaspar Skinner brings his abundance of skill and knowledge in leatherworking to host this Leather Journal Workshop!
Learn the basics of working with sheepskin while making a warm, practical item to take home.
Students will learn how to cut, prepare, and sew sheepskin by hand, along with an introduction to the qualities of this versatile material.
Choose from a selection of projects, including mittens, slippers, hand muffs, and other small accessories.
Instruction will cover pattern layout, cutting, stitching, and assembly, with plenty of guidance throughout the class.
Suitable for beginners as well as those with some sewing or leatherworking experience. All materials and tools are provided.
Held in the weeks leading up to Christmas, this workshop also offers the opportunity to create a handmade gift.
