October is here… and with it glorious fall weather and brilliant festive leaves!
My time in Ottawa was amazing! I spent three days with brilliant women, literally from the world over, all involved with incredible initiatives, changing the world from within their communities. The most colourful meeting of professionals that I have ever been with!
We are now preparing for our time at the Royal Winter Fair in Toronto, opening November 7th. We will be in the Northern Ontario Pavilion until closing November 16th. We will be there with yarn, blankets, garment and possibly some fabric yardage. We look forward to meeting and speaking with old friends, making new contacts and discussing processing with farmers.
Due to the postal strike, we will be bringing custom orders and sales to the event for pick up, eliminating private delivery charges. Please let us know as soon as possible if there are particular items that you would like to see included.
Wave Fibre Mill Store
We always welcome visitors to our retail store at the 3 Murphy Road site, Monday to Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturdays and Sundays 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
We have 100% wool yarn produced and dyed here at Wave Fibre Mill. All of our dyes are natural.
Wave, our Designer, creates the looks that are produced from our yardage. We also offer knit garments, such as the “Mocha Moose” rolled neck sweaters, colourful striped sweaters and so much more!
Our finished product begins as raw Ontario wool from regenerative farms and ends as clothing, bedding and household products all “under one roof”.

We have weekly Sunday drop-in makers sessions and one event, workshop or presentation each month.
